  • How can I meditate during pregnancy?

    Our experienced meditation guides work with you to establish the best meditation techniques. You may find that trying a few different styles and focusing tools like belly breathing, mantras, and deep breathing can help you build your meditation practice.

  • Can meditation help you get pregnant?

    A debated topic, but studies have shown that regular meditation practice has the ability to improve your overall psychological health and stress management skills. Of course, we always ask you to consult your doctor before introducing any new health or wellness program - but we think that a less stressed mind is always a good thing!

  • How do you meditate?

    There’s no one way! There are many forms of meditation, and truth be told anything can be done with a mindful, meditative mindset - from walking to washing dishes! Our Wellness Advisors work with you to help uncover what method works best for you pre and post pregnancy.

  • Can meditation be harmful?

    Sometimes, with meditation, unwanted or stressful emotions may come up. Our expert meditation instructors take a compassionate approach to supporting you through your meditation journey.

  • Can I bundle other Anahana Services aside from meditation with pre/post natal meditation?

     Absolutely, we’re all for 360-degree health and wellness! Speak with your Wellness Advisor to see how Anahana nutrition, yoga, pilates, and other services can help pre and post pregnancy.

  • Can I practice meditation throughout my pregnancy?

    With the consultation of your doctor, we work with you to offer the best meditation techniques to keep you and your baby happy and healthy pre and post pregnancy.

  • How long are sessions?

    Anywhere from 20 minutes to a couple of hours depending on the focus and type of session. Streaming Meditation & Breathing Sessions start at 25 minutes and in-home is generally one hour.

  • How do I monitor my meditation progress?

    We take care of your progress! Our instructors take a long term approach to your health and wellness. Whether you’re working on short or long term goals, we’ll monitor, assess, and then reassess your development as you go. Check out our Anahana Wellness Process!

  • What is a Wellness Advisor?

    Do you want to be proactive in living a healthier, happier, and longer life? Wellness Advisors help you do just that by working with you to determine immediate and long term goals, strategies that work for you, and provide the tools and professionals to make it happen.

  • How much do guided meditation sessions cost?

    It varies depending on the type of service and your location. Shorter streaming sessions start at $65 and onsite/in-home can go up to $450+/hour for Anahana Specialists. HST is charged for some services and not others per CRA regulations. Insurance can cover some services.
